Here is a list of all official Blackberry Messenger Emoticons (or Smileys) and their real meaning as released by Blackberry. Let me quickly tell you the reason I decided to write this. There are so many reasons; things that have happened to me and other people I know but I will mention one or a couple of them.
I was chatting with someone on BBM and she sent me this smiley.
I didn’t know the meaning of that smiley and I asked her. She told me she didn’t know too but it definitely looked like another form of “angry”. I argued that it would definitely have “sick” in it’s meaning because it has green colour. Even if it denotes angry mood, it would probably mean “getting angry because of getting sick of something”. We were both wrong as you might have seen from what is written on the smiley itself.
I want people to actually know the real meaning of the smileys they send and not send wrong messages or signals out. You should know what you are actually sending when you decide to send an emoticon to someone. The person may know the true meaning and you don’t. You would be thinking something and sending a totally different message.
You would agree that it does not make any sense to have them all in a single page. It makes the page too long and longer to load on some mobile browsers. It is typically used when Homer injures himself, realizes that he has done something stupid, or when something bad has happened or is about to happen to him (Source: Wikipedia).
